The St. Bedes School RESPECT launch evening took place on the 20th November at Gisborough Hall. The aim of the event was to encourage children to be a HERO or in other words Help Everybody Respect Others. When the team at Castle Grange Technologies heard that St Bedes needed audio visual support for the campaign to go ahead they were happy to help. Castle Grange were able to offer the provision and set-up of a suitable projector and screen for the event free of charge, enabling the evening to go ahead as planned.
The evening seen two great role models take to the stage – Middlesbrough footballer; George Friend and X Factor contestant; Kerrianne Covell. As well as listening to inspirational speeches from these two stars, the audience also took part in a re-worded version of Pharell Williams number one hit Happy from 2013. The song really related to the students and included lyrics such as Clap along and I’ll show respect from me to you, encouraging students to be respectful of each other.
Shortly after the event the team at Castle Grange received a message from the students at St Bedes Primary: Thank you so much for helping in creating an amazing evening that we’ll never forget. We cant wait for future events, love from the children of St Bedes School.
Mike Preece, the director of CGT attended the RESPECT evening, he said: We felt this was a brilliant cause and were more than happy to help. It really was a great evening and we are delighted with the message from the students of St Bedes.
Castle Grange Technologies are also set to help North Yorkshire charity, Herriots Hospice, by providing an ultra short throw projector and projection screen for an important supporters meeting. The charity does some really great work, helping people with life limiting illnesses receive the treatment they need in their own home.
The Chief executive of Herriots Homecare is very grateful for this support, stating: It was lovely to speak to you and thank you so much for offering to help with the short throw projector and screen, we really are very grateful.
Stephen Gibson, General Manager of CGT said: Castle Grange Technologies have given a lot to the community in the past, long before I joined and they have continued to do so since I have become part of the team here. Its great to be involved in a company where the people want to help for helpings sake when they are able to. I think that its important that the company now has the platforms to show its personality to people and due to social media and our new website we are able to do that.
